A family trust
Privacy
This genealogy belongs to the family. We look after family members’ data with care.
- For every visitor
- Names, NIT, branch, generation, spouse names and parent–child links as printed in the TALI Book 2022. Birth and death years, grave location and haul date only for people who have passed away — or who were born more than 100 years ago (presumed deceased).
- For signed-in family members
- Family members whose account was approved by a branch coordinator also see the regency of residence and the birth year of adults. Birth years of children under 18 are shown to no one except the coordinators.
- For branch coordinators & admins
- Full addresses and phone numbers from the TALI Book are kept in a closed database (Cloudflare D1), separate from the public pages. Only the coordinator of the branch concerned and RABIGH admins can see them, for updating records and Silatul Arham invitations. Every change is logged.
- Search engines
- Profiles of people who may still be alive are marked “noindex” so they do not appear on Google, and are left out of the sitemap.
- Statistics
- Regional and birth-decade charts are totals only, with no individual data.
- Accounts & security
- Passwords are stored hashed (PBKDF2), never in plain text. Sign-in attempts are rate-limited. Your email is used only for signing in, password resets and coordinator notices — never shared.
- Cookies
- A single session cookie is set only when you sign in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies; visits are counted anonymously without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics). Your dark-mode choice is stored only in your browser.
- Your rights
- You may ask to see, correct, hide or delete your data (or your child’s). Use “Suggest an update” on the profile, or tell your branch coordinator or the RABIGH board.
- Basis
- The data comes from the TALI Book 2022, compiled and published by RABIGH for the family. We aim to follow Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 27 of 2022.
